Quote of the Day:)
I always wanted a happy ending... Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity ~ Gilda Radner

LittleSyam Book Binding Workshop 13
What a blessing moment I had, having 13 girls for my LittleSyam Book Binding Workshop 13.. and what a nice coincident to have 13 students for Workshop 13...
Geetha, Inara, Patty, Nor, Ruzana, Kaylee, Rebekah, Adlin, Suraiya, Nik, Azzah, Shade & Dye eagerly came all the way to learn the new skill creating a hand bound book. Kaylee was the youngest student and at age 13, she was definitely really really good & focus:) The rest are doing pretty well even though there are some panicking happened here and there. Once everyone get the momentum, they are kind of quite and focus to finish up their own book:) I found that fascinating... quite mean they understand and really into it..
My first time having a workshop at The Tea Republic, different ambience, and this time I don't have to think about the food because they take care of it...pheeeew and yeaaayyy. Thanks to ttr that made this workshop possible. Their crew are really helpful too. It was nice secluded corner.... I am too busy, do not have time to check on other vendors and missed their tea tasting session too:(

Quote of the Day
Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better ~ King Whitney Jr.

The Good Societea Market
Wooooo hoooa....This time around I am going to have my Book Binding Workshop 13 at The Tea Republic. Exciting part are they going to have exclusive market setup of 10 selected vendors selling art & deco at the same time as my workshop. I am overly excited...never thought of having it there but out of sudden the plan just slip by to me from Rom the founder of outdated (check their beautiful vintage collection).
I am going to check the place soon and will capture some photos and share it with you guys... I already can imagine how interesting the session going to be.

Hello there
YES my new year 2012 resolution kind of start on late January....I am being lazy at this moment. Enjoying the very last moment because February going to start busy again with graphic & craft job.
I have 10 simple lists for 2012...no pressure, just to lead a simpler and better life and at the end of the day just be happy. I am blessed for another year to come, surrounding with wonderful friends and families.
Nothing more important than to appreciate small little things that I took for granted all this while.
Cheers All & God Bless ///syam
